Background:

The Austin EcoNetwork (AEN) is Austin’s only local environmental news source, connecting people to information, events, and resources related to Austin and the environment through a community website and weekly Austin EcoNewsletter. AEN initially hired Huckster Design to design an updated logo, migrate their database from drupal to wordpress, and give the website a much needed face lift. We recently launched the Austin Reuse Directory and the Green Business Directory, two online location listings with searchable filters and categories, utilizing google maps API and geo location.

Services Rendered:

  • Logo Design
  • Website Design
  • Drupal to wordpress migration
  • WordPress Development and Customization
  • User Interface Design
  • Custom Iconography

The Reuse Directory

Visitors can use the Reuse Directory to find Austin businesses that will take their used items. We just expanded it so now you can find businesses that might sell, rent or repair an item you are interested in. Search by item, business name or location and the directory sorts locations by distance from you. It’s also fully responsive so it works on any device.
