BuzzBanking®

fisoc launched this product in 2010. It’s a rewards program that allows it’s users to earn points on every day purchases and earn additional points for spreading the word. It’s an entire user experience that implements directly into a financial institution’s core services. BuzzBanking is a rewards program that also integrates with social media.
The target user is part of the Generation Y, who prefers to do his/her banking online and uses social media almost everyday.

fisoc hired Huckster Design to create a character or personality for BuzzBanking. It was important to keep the character fun and friendly while maintaining a feeling of simplicity; afterall one of the product’s selling points is that- It’s fast, it’s free and it’s convenient. We illustrated a bee in several different poses. We gave him glasses and a bow tie. We also gave him a stinger for a little spunk and to double as a tailcoat to match his bow tie. He’s distinguished yet friendly, inviting people to Catch the Buzz!
